PhD research: Risk and Uncertainty in Rural Cambodia: Arsenic Contaminated Groundwater and Agricultural Households

Postgraduate student

Jonathan is currently a PhD student at the University of Manchester and a member of the Environmental and Resource Economics research area group.

Jonathan graduated in 2007 with a First Class Honours degree in Business from Manchester Metropolitan University. He has worked for a variety of companies including The Bank of New York Mellon, Xerox and Xchanging.

In order to further his interest in Environmental and Resource Economics he attended The University of Manchester to sit both the Postgraduate Diploma in Economics and the MSc in Economics (Environmental Economics), achieving a Distinction in both.

His MSc dissertation was an applied contingent valuation study to estimate values for environmental preferences towards the Blue-Green Algae problem at Preston Docks.
