Rethinking the role of individuals’ behaviours in sustainable consumption

The latest LWEC (Living With Environmental Change) Policy and Practice Note No. 21, written by the SCI’s Dale Southerton & Dan Welch, suggests reframing the approach to sustainable consumption from one focused on individual behaviours and consumer choices to one focused on the social organisation of consumption.
