Exploring transition pathways to sustainable, low carbon societies

This project investigates sustainability transition pathways in five empirical domains (heat, electricity, mobility, agro-food, and forestry). The methodological novelty is to analyse these transitions pathways from three different angles: 1) integrated assessment modeling, 2) socio-technical transition studies (multi-level perspective), and 3) participative action research at the local and urban level (of ‘transition in the making’).
